About Ben Fraternale

Please to meet you. I’m a New York-based multidisciplinary artist driven by an endless enthusiasm for creativity and moving images. This website is a hub for commercials and films I've directed for agencies and brands, as well as self-produced content.

I first picked up the camera in pursuit of capturing the Arena Football League at age 11. By age 16, I produced a weekly show for New York’s franchise and my passion for production locked in for a lifetime. I now work principally as a director/shooter/editor with a unique ability to shepherd productions through every phase, a holistic skillset that has brought me awesome opportunities such as working with Delta Airlines during the 2024 Paris Olympic Games and producing a 30 episode docu-series for the AFL.

My love of images extends even further, as I work extensively in the film photography industry. This manifested in many collaborations with Polaroid, the design and launch of a beloved camera store/community space in Brooklyn, and the operation of a classic film portrait studio in Dobbs Ferry, NY.
